You can report to: https://secure.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/CybertipServlet?LanguageCountry=en_US
which is the most logical for US people. Their form has a lot to fill in. I do not know how much is needed, as I never used them to report anything.
Another site (Save The Children) is much more "user-friendly" for people who want to report online child pornography, but do not want to type a lot. The English version of their site is located here: http://www.redbarnet.dk/Default.asp?ID=1941 (opens in new window).

Answer:
We have a long list of trusted authorities where to report child porn and child abuse, and you find them by going to our front page.
In your case visit: https://secure.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/CybertipServlet?LanguageCountry=en_US or call 1-800-843-5678 and explain what you have experienced in your chat room.

Question1 : Date: Sat, 07 Jan 2006 09:12:51
Is there a site i can just click on to report and IP of someone with kiddie porn? i am an admi in a chat room of a peer to peer network and would like to help stop child porn and get these ppl caught.
Answer:
The answer is not as easy as it should be when protecting children is the issue, but nevertheless here is our answer, which is not to be considered legal advice. For legal advice contact your advocate/attorney.
Police will not bust into a house or supervise a person with out good reason. That you send an ip of someone who claims they have child porn is not enough to activate them.
If your chat has transcript of chat sessions, then copy a conversation or print it out together with information about day, hour and seconds of log in and log out of the suspected pedophile as well as IP number, and then submit that to one of the listed addresses in your country or the country where the pedophile lives.
The host of the chat room might be able to assist you with the transcript.
Alternatively submit the information to an independent organization that protects children or works against child porn.
It is important that you give as much information about that person as possible, as police/and organizations need to have as much evidence as possible to act on.
You might need to go into cooperation with the police and ask them if they want to supervise you while contacting the pedophile and ask that he/she sends you a child porn photo sample.
If the pedophile does it and you do this while supervised, police will know you are innocent in getting this sent to your computer, and they will then have a reason to ask police in the pedophiles country to supervise or arrest that pedophile and confiscate his/her computer/Internet files.
DO NOT ask for evidence which incriminates yourself unless you are cooperating with the police first!!!!
