Pedophile Sentenced to 30 Months in Nicaraguan Prison |

American Arnold Peter Eisner, was sentenced to a two year, six month and two days in a Nicaraguan prison, after being convicted of attempted dishonest abuse of harming Nicaraguan children. The sentence was very light in view of, according to the judge of the case; the Public Ministry did not achieve to demonstrate the crime of corruption of under aged persons that was attributed to the north American. Eisner´s defense testified that in Nicaragua there does not exist a crime of dishonest abuse in the form of attempted abuse. And for this he is going to present an appeal of revision so that they can open a new case. The sentence is less than five years, the judge can permit Eisner to pay a fine instead of going to prison, but he decided that the foreigner should remain in protective custody. The weekend following the report of the Nicaraguan authorities, Eisner had to be hospitalized. Judge, Jaime Alfonso Solìs reported a series of death threats against his life by means of telephone calls. More so, in an intimidating act, an bus traveling with a group of children was parked in front of his house before the sentence. Also in the traveling vehicle was a young woman who solicited the freedom of Eisner, whom she calls ¨the Angle of the Poor.¨ The principal witness in the case, a traveling vendor, who Eisner solicited to help recruit street children to sexually exploit, was also targeted with threats. The 28th of this year, Casa Alianza Nicaragua accompanied the witness to put in a complaint to the Fourth Delegation of the National Police, later she and her daughter received death threats as well. A group of persons traveling in a yellow school bus arrived at the stop lights of the National Assembly, where she stayed as a traveling vendor. They clearly expressed that if the north American is convicted, she and her daughter would pay for it. Before they left, they left one of the banners that read ¨Arnold: Angel of the Children,¨ which provided proof. The person who reported the crime recognized, that the occupants of the vehicle, various people who were in corridor of the Fourth Court waiting to be called as witnesses in favor of Eisner, before the reading of the sentence. Casa Alianza Nicaragua publicly solicited special protection for the judge and for the witness, as a more profound investigation to actually determine who is the author of the threats. Although the authorities suspected Eisner did not act alone, and that he was accompanies by other Americans and three little girls in his apartment, no one else has been accused up to this moment. |
